We recently announced exciting news that we will be hitting the road for our first NewME Pop-Up Accelerator event set to take place in Miami, Fl. Nov. 12 – 14.
Scott Kupor is a partner and COO at Andreessen Horowitz. Scott previously worked as Vice President and General Manager of Software-as-a-Service at Hewlett Packard. Kupor joined HP in 2007 as part of the Opsware acquisition, where he was senior vice president of Customer Solutions. Kupor represented software companies in both financing and mergers and acquisitions transactions at Credit Suisse First Boston and Lehman Brothers.
Erik Moore is the founder and Managing Director of Base Ventures of which he launched from a love for investing in trailblazing tech start-ups. During the past 12 years, Erik has invested in approximately two dozen start-ups. He was a seed investor in Zappos.com which was sold to Amazon for $1.2 billion and Agencourt Biosciences which was sold to Beckman Coulter for $270 million.
Both Kupor and Moore bring an abundance of knowledge and experience to the table and make a great addition to the Pop-Up event. Other guests include Brian Brackeen, CEO of Kairos, Clayton Bryan, Head of Programs at NewMe Accelerator, and Angela Benton, Founder and CEO of NewME Accelerator.
