NewME Accelerator

NewME Accelerator, a nationally recognized Startup Accelerator for minorities and women based in San Francisco, hits the road!  NewME will launch an intensive 3-night version of the critically acclaimed program in Washington DC at iStrategyLabs.  Local entrepreneurs will get a taste of what it’s like to participate in the 12-week program in just 3 nights right in their own backyard.  Participants will get critical advice, hands-on classes, and even a Demo Day that includes pitching to top investors, in addition to a $25,000 service prize pack.

A limited number of slots are available per city.  Advanced registration required.

Master Class: The Art of the Pitch, Part 1
Time: 7pm; Length: 1.5 – 2 hours

In this master class work with San Francisco based NewME experts to take the first steps to craft the perfect pitch.  Part 1 in this series focuses on your startup’s value proposition, high concept pitch, and more.  Leave with a tangible pitch deck perfect for use during presentations, a thirst for Part 2 in this series, and a chance to be one of a chosen few to pitch at our culminating event.

Time:  7pm -9pm

You’ve spent the last 2 and a half days sweating it out with NewME, wrestling with your pitch, and getting the exact advice you need.  It all comes down to this night where you’ll network with the who’s who in D.C.’s tech scene, special guests from Silicon Valley, and potentially pitch your dream to a panel of judges.  Participants will pitch to win a potential slot in a 2013 NewME Accelerator class and a prize pack from our product sponsors.
